Prior to founding Sidecar in 2020, Jim served as Vice President for the Office & Industrial Division at Henry S. Miller Brokerage, LLC in Dallas, TX. During his six year tenure at the firm, Jim participated in over 150 sale and/or lease transactions and consulting projects, and was one of Henry S. Miller’s Top 10 Producers and a D CEO Power Broker in 2016 and 2017. Earlier career roles included working as a strategic marketing, business development and sales professional at world-class multinational organizations including Schneider Electric, Johnson Controls and Brady Corporation. With this background, he can offer clients unique strategic planning and project management capabilities. His career experience has molded his abilities to research and quickly analyze market data, identify business opportunities, develop strategies and execute unique and complex solutions for clients.
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Jim earned an MS in Management-International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a BS in Marketing from Arizona State University. He also served for six years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Jim has lived in Frisco, TX since 2011 with his wife, Laura, son Andon, and daughter Sydney. In his spare time, Jim enjoys family and community activities, travel and sports.

Prior to his real estate career, Ray worked in sales and technology related individual contributor and leadership roles in startup, F1000, reseller, and technology products & services provider environments, and advisory consulting services environments for world-class organizations including Apple Computer, Inc., Comdisco, inc., Insight, Remedy, Sybase and Data General Corporation.

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Ray earned a BS in Business Administration from California Coast University. Ray and his residential real estate partner and wife, Barbara, have lived and worked in Kansas City, Detroit, Chicago, and Houston, and have called the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex home since 1990. They have two sons, Nicholas and Brandon, who live and work in North Texas, and three precious and lovely granddaughters, Stella, Carrie, and Olivia, who they try to spoil beyond belief. In his spare time, Ray enjoys his family and volunteering in community service roles, travelling, and running whenever possible.

Prior to joining Sidecar CRE, Kelland was a real estate agent with EXP Realty where his primary focus was supporting investors in the acquisition of distressed properties and vacant land. Before his time at EXP Realty, Kelland worked with Proptech startup Opendoor Labs where he was the top Acquisitions Associate in his division from 2018-2020. Earlier in his career he worked as an administrator with Dallas Independent School District, providing educational leadership and creating scalable improvement systems at the campus level. With his background he is able to understand the needs of his clients and help them develop winning strategies and solutions for their corporate real estate requirements.
Born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas; Kelland earned a B.A in History from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Kelland and his wife Crystal have lived in the Mid Cities area of Dallas-Fort Worth, TX since 2013 and have two beautiful daughters.
